Here at CSP Brushes, I'd like to remind all followers that this space is 100% supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement and will continue to be supportive of this and other anti-racist, anti-fascist movements.
Though this page is mostly focused on brushes, it's important for us all to support Black artists and artworks. I'd like to promote a couple of places that promote Black artwork/artists with the links below:
#DRAWINGWHILEBLACK Directory
Twitter User Abelle Hayford created the hashtag as a way for Black artists to promote their work! Recently, they updated it to add more artists and links to their pages in this Google spreadsheet. This is a massively helpful link that shows what field the artists work in, their social media links, and if they're looking for work or not!
Black N Animated Podcast
Aimed more at the animation industry, this podcast is hosted by Breana Williams and Waymond Singleton. They bring on a cohort of guests from writers to animators, and also discuss how to navigate the animation industry! Not only does the podcast give amazing insights, but they have also organized mixers with the big animation studios. It's a fun, informative podcast that's a great listen to!
Even though these are only two resources, I hope that people can find an artist they enjoy and follow or share their work… I know I've used these links hundreds of times and found new artists!
With times like these, we all need to come together and support one another! Black artists are VALID and IMPORTANT in the CSP community, and this page will continue to be supportive of them no matter what

Hi! I've done my best to give an overview of the basics but csp is FILLED with stuff and there's still quite a bit I've never actually used before. I can talk about anything else I've said here in more detail and also answer a lot of other questions you might have so if there are things I haven't covered, let me know and I can do a more specific tutorial! That also applies to anyone reading this!

3D/RGB Split Effect Tutorial

Hello! this is an effect I see in a lot of artworks and that I use a lot, I tend to see new/younger digital artists (even others who are more experienced) asking me and others quite often how to do it but there doesn't seem to be many tutorials for how to do it, especially not for Clip Studio Paint. I'm going to try to keep this simple as possible, cause it confuses tf out of me and i only just now learned how to do it in CSP lol
*This can also be/is usually done in Photoshop, but not everyone has photoshop, and there are already tutorials for it I think! Do what u gotta do!

I use the "Real Pencil" brush in CSP with these settings:
It makes all my sketches look so… soft and better!! I love it and abuse it. For more solid lines with the grainy look, I use these settings.

Its okay to ask anon! I experiment a lot with clip studio paint and don't really have a consistent brush I use but I'll list the ones I use frequently (with their settings) and you can choose which one you're looking for.
